From early brief
to workable detail.
Bring plans, a furniture list, reference images or a straightforward description of the problem. We will identify what needs resolving before a quotation can be useful.
Send an enquiry01 / A practical process
Five useful conversations.
- 01
Frame the requirement
We establish the space, intended use, approximate quantities, programme and the decisions already made.
- 02
Develop the specification
Dimensions, layouts, materials, finishes and access requirements are brought into a clearer product brief.
- 03
Build the quotation
We set out the proposed scope and price against the information available, noting points that still need agreement.
- 04
Coordinate the detail
Before manufacture or supply, we confirm the relevant measurements, selections and delivery information.
- 05
Plan fulfilment
Delivery and installation requirements are considered with site access and the agreed project arrangement in mind.
02 / Helpful at the outset
What to share with us.
A complete specification is useful, but it is not required for the first conversation. Any of the following can help us understand where the brief stands.
- A room plan, elevation or key site dimensions
- Product quantities and intended user numbers
- Required finishes or an existing interior palette
- Equipment that the furniture needs to accommodate
- Access, timing or installation considerations already known
- A target budget, if one has been set
03 / Common questions
Before you enquire.
Can you quote from drawings?
Yes. Plans, schedules and elevations are useful starting points. We may ask for additional dimensions or clarification where the supplied information is not enough to define the furniture accurately.
Can standard and bespoke furniture be combined?
That is often a sensible approach. Catalogue pieces can cover repeatable requirements while fitted or made-to-measure elements respond to the parts of the interior that need a closer fit.
Are prices shown online?
No. The range is quotation-led because quantities, dimensions, finishes, delivery and installation requirements can materially affect the final scope.
Do you work with designers and contractors?
We welcome enquiries from end clients, interior designers, fit-out teams and other commercial partners. The information needed will depend on the role Cartonnex is being asked to take within the project.
How are lead times confirmed?
Timing depends on product selection, materials, quantities and project coordination. Any relevant programme information will be discussed and confirmed as part of the quotation process.
