01 / Our approach

Commercially grounded. Carefully resolved.

Cartonnex was established in 2025 to manufacture and supply furniture for working commercial environments. From our base in Cheltenham, we focus on offices, retail and showroom spaces, hospitality settings and the reception areas that connect people with them. The range covers individual pieces, coordinated furniture families and made-to-measure joinery where the room calls for a more exact response.

Our starting point is practical: what needs to happen in the space, who will use it and which details matter to the day-to-day operation. That may mean a bench desk that keeps power tidy, a retail counter developed around staff equipment, a banquette planned to make better use of a wall, or fitted storage composed around awkward dimensions. We ask for the information that moves the project forward and keep the conversation direct.

Across our team, we bring together decades of combined experience. That practical knowledge helps us look beyond the image of a finished product to its construction, access, installation and use. We do not assume every brief needs the most elaborate answer. The aim is to reach a clear, proportionate specification—one that can be understood, quoted and coordinated with confidence.

As Cartonnex grows, the focus remains deliberately close to the work: responsive communication, believable materials and furniture that earns its place in the interior. We want clients, designers and trade partners to have a useful route from an early idea to a tangible product package, without inflated claims or unnecessary complexity.
